In today’s grateful Friday video edition on Know Stroke I’m diving deep into my recent biohacking experiment on myself and a tech head to head between my Apple Watch and the newest addition to my digital health tracking tools arsenal , the new Fitbit Air. Links to the versions I own on Amazon. Yes, full disclosure I am an Amazon associate.

You’ll also get a laugh when you see the interactions I’ve been having with my new digital Ai health coach, I now affectionately call him my own “Jarvis” from the Marvel series AKA Tony Stark “Ironman.”

[Sidebar] I had made a bold prediction during a digital health keynote I delivered a few years back in Boston on the future of wearables in physical medicine and rehabilitation. This past week, with the release of the new health Ai agent and health coach in Google Health’s ecosystem, that prediction has come true. Another full circle moment in fact for me, seeing this happen and having this last slide come to reality on how we have the potential to connect care with tech enabled solutions.

I’ll be including this full slide deck in the bonus section of my book, Closure After Stroke, releasing July 4th.

Sample Gallery of Conversations and Insights I’ve learned in the Google Health Platform from my personal health coach Jarvis. Including my sleep score, how it impacts my training, sample workout suggestions based on my health biomarkers and readiness scores, the knowledge Jarvis already had about my Believe in Balance Course and program (pretty cool), even cited sources and links, as well as my discussion and criticism why I can’t log my blood pressure yet in the app.

These are just several, I’m having fun with this!

How I intend to use Fitbit Air in my stroke recovery

This is in addition to several in-home medical devices I’ve tried and use/d for my stroke recovery in the past…
