Thanks everyone that joined us and especially to my guest Mark Brodie who certainly did a fantastic job sharing his lived experience, voice and great aphasia resources linked here in this replay post.

To the point I mentioned during the event of teaching to small groups and large lecture halls alike.. here's some initial data on our Substack 'live classroom' just 2 days out from Saturday's event. We had under 10 people in the live event (smaller breakout session example) and already had 256 viewers to the replay (filled a large lecture hall!). So my lesson learned over the years to this point is share your story! Even if you help one person on their journey it is SO worth the time:) Ans in the weeks to come Mark's story and lessons learned will be shared over and over and we'll be releasing it as a full podcast next month as well to reach more!

Just like in a breakout learning group, you get to ask questions! We had one I didn't get to because of a time limitation on my end. It was sent in by a stroke survivor in a conversation after Mark commented on a post from. a previous project we had completed on using digital tools in stroke recovery. I will link Mark's reply to the event below but hoping Mark can chime in on the answer here to this question.

What was missing in your previous mention of using wearables in your stroke recovery?

Would you have felt more confident using them if your therapist or care team member had 'prescribed them' as a validated 'digital prescription' of sorts to track your recovery and gave you measurable rehab goals to achieve while they were tracking you with this wearable tech? Please reference this comment for Mark's response which started things off. https://knowstroke.substack.com/p/navigating-the-journey-of-stroke/comment/138851220

If you have other questions or comments related to this topic or missed sending in your question for Mark prior to the event please chime in here as well!
